Kuban State Technological University supports the Russian Wines Competition©.
The competition of Russian wines, the Russian Wines Competition©, was supported by Kuban State Technological University.
Some words about the university. On June 16, 1918 the Council of Public Education of the Kuban-Black Sea Soviet Republic decided to open Kuban Polytechnic Institute in Ekaterinodar (now Krasnodar). It is back to this date that the first higher educational institution in the South Caucasus, Kuban State Technological University, as well as higher education and science of Kuban, traces its history. In November 1993, the institute achieved the status of a university and was renamed Kuban State Technological University.
In Russia there are few regional higher schools, renowned for professors whose names are included in state encyclopedias. The Great Soviet Encyclopedia yearbook contains information on professors G.G. Agabalyants’s and A.A. Merzhanian’s activities. The "History of viticulture" published articles about A.M. Frolove-Bagreev, A.A. Merzhanian. The "Economic Encyclopedia" includes an article about P.I. Nikitin, the author of the textbook "Foundations of Political Economy", published in 49 countries. These people made the university world famous.
The university scientists made the greatest contribution to the development of domestic winemaking. They gave people a sunny drink, "Soviet champagne". A.M. Frolov-Bagreev is the founder of the scientific school of champagne makers, the author of the tank champagne production technology. He became the only food industry winner of the Stalin Prize, awarded him in 1942, during the hardest battles of the Great Patriotic War, "for creating the drink of the Victory." His followers, G.G. Agabalyants and A.A. Merzhanian, continued developing the theory of winemaking, they created progressive ways of producing sparkling wines. In 1961 they were awarded the Lenin Prize (the only one in the food industry).
Kuban State Technological University is the first educational institution of Krasnodar Region which has created a quality management system. It is an important part of the overall management system and is aimed at guaranteeing the quality of educational, scientific and other types of activity carried out by the university.
The university trains personnel for high-tech industries and such areas of activity as: fuel and power complex; engineering; industrial and civil construction; production of building materials, products and structures; road complex; food and processing industry; technosphere and information security; economics and public relations.
The university license has over six hundred educational programs of different levels.
The educational process is based on the systemic updating of the educational programs content with due regard for the requirements of employers.
The principle of openness of the university in the market of educational services is being implemented. This enables the university to significantly improve the quality of educational programs as well as expand the range of programs by promoting cooperation with universities and high-tech companies all over the world through the exchange of students, teachers, the development of academic mobility, the development and implementation of joint educational programs, including the use of distance learning technologies.
The research activity of the University is aimed at obtaining new knowledge in the main scientific and educational programs and applying it to train highly qualified personnel, retaining and developing leading scientific and pedagogical communities, attracting and retaining young people in the field of science and innovation, creating high-tech technologies and competitive scientific- technical products.
I express my gratitude to the management of Kuban State Technological University for their support.
