Tatiana SelivanovaWeinakademiker (Russia)
Tatiana started her wine trading career in 2004 working as a fine alcohol sales assistant, then she went on to work as a restaurant business/chain manager.
In 2008 Tatiana finished a sommelier school “Wine People” (Moscow) and embarked on the career as a sommelier in Maison Dellos holding (“Pushkin” restaurant, “Turandot” restaurant, “Kasta Diva” restaurant and others).
In 2009 Tatiana was announced winner of the all-Russia Wine People Trophy sommelier competition. Afterwards she was repeatedly invited as a panel juror to the following wine competitions: Wine People Trophy (2011, 2012, 2017), Fresh Faces (2013, 2014), try-out round of the European Wine People contest (2016).
From 2010 till 2016 she was engaged with the training department of the wine trading company Fort working her way up from trainer to head of department. In 2013-14 she was a co-organizer and panel chair of the first all-Russia sommelier group contest - Sommelier League (Moscow).
During 2012-2015 she did a course and passed exams in WSET Level 3 (London, Great Britain) and WSET Diploma Level 4 at Weinakademie Ӧsterreich (Rust, Austria). She also defended a thesis on Animals as Leaders, devoted to the effects animal images on wine labels have on the way one perceives a wine product. In 2015 she became the first Russian Weinakademiker (Weinakademie Ӧsterreich, Rust, Austria).
Apart from being involved in the L-Wine project she currently delivers lectures in Wine People sommelier school (Moscow). She is granted the status of a Certified educator and a Brand ambassador of Loire Valley Wines. She is also a certified educator in the approved program provider of L-Wine based education center (WSET Level 2 and WSET Level 3). She is the author and lecturer of the “Wine English” course.
She is a member of the Russian Sommelier Association.
