Who is to judge?
It is a juror at a wine competition that is of major importance. A recognized, qualified wine expert-taster is key to an objective and professional tasting. The Russian Wines Competition© has brought together three Masters of Wine and four Weinakademikers.
Master of Wine is a qualification issued by The Institute of Masters of Wine in the United Kingdom. In the wine industry the qualification is generally regarded as one of the highest standards of professional wine competence and one of the most sought after. Currently there are 370 Masters of Wine in the world.
Weinakademiker is a prestigious wine qualification issued by The Austrian Wine Academy (Weinakademie Osterreich) in Austria. The Weinakademiker title may be awarded to WSET Diploma graduates upon their completing a thesis and defending it at a viva-voce exam. Today there are more than 750 Weinakademikers from 36 different countries.
