Sibirkovyy
Sibirkovyy is a white grape variety used for still dry wine production. It is believed to originally come from the Rostov region (Russia). It is an early- to mid-budding and mid-ripening grape variety with medium-sized bunches and thin-skinned berries of medium size. It is susceptible to downy mildew, drought and cold-sensitive. Sibirkovyy can produce monovarietal wines but is also used in blends with different grape varieties. Fermentation usually takes place in stainless steel tanks, maturation – in stainless steel tanks.
