Riesling
Riesling is a white grape variety most commonly used for still dry, medium-dry, medium-sweet and sweet wine production. It is believed to originally come from Germany. It is a late-budding and mid- to late-ripening grape variety with compact, small bunches and medium-sized, thin-skinned berries. It is susceptible to powdery mildew (oidium) and botrytis bunch rot (grey mold), but is resistant to downy mildew and winter-hardy. Riesling typically produces monovarietal wines. Fermentation usually takes place in stainless steel tanks, maturation – in stainless steel tanks.
