Muscadet / Melon de Bourgogne / Melon
Muscadet is a white grape variety used for still dry wine production. It is believed to originally come from Burgundy (France). It is a mid-ripening grape variety with small to medium-sized bunches and small berries. It is susceptible to botrytis bunch rot (grey mold). Muscadet produces monovarietal wines. Fermentation usually takes place in stainless steel tanks, maturation – in stainless steel tanks.
