Mavrotragano
Mavrotragano is a black grape variety used for red wine production. It is believed to originally come from Santorini (Greece). It is a grape variety with big bunches and small, thick-skinned berries. It shows good disease resistance and gives low yields. Mavrotragano is produced as a monovarietal wine. Fermentation typically takes place in stainless steel tanks, maturation – in oak barrels.
