Lambrusco Salamino
Lambrusco Salamino is a black grape variety used mostly for red sparkling wine production. It is believed to originally come from Emilia-Romagna (Italy). It is a late-ripening grape variety with short cylindrical bunches. It is a member of the Lambrusco family. Lambrusco Salamino typically produces monovarietal wines, though it is sometimes blended with Lambrusco di Sorbara and Ancellotta. It is often found in off-dry and sweet styles. The vast majority of sparkling wines from the grape are produced by the tank method (second fermentation in a tank).
