Kokur Belyy
Kokur Belyy is a white grape variety used for still dry wine production. It is believed to probably come from Greece. It is a mid-budding and mid- to late-ripening grape variety with medium-sized bunches and big, thin-skinned berries. It is susceptible to downy and powdery (oidium) mildews. Kokur Belyy can produce monovarietal wines but is also used in blends with different grape varieties. A classic blending partner is Sary Pandas. Fermentation usually takes place in stainless steel tanks, or sometimes in oak barrels, maturation – in stainless steel tanks, or sometimes in oak barrels.
