Grüner Veltliner
Grüner Veltliner is a white grape variety mainly used for still dry wine production. It is believed to originally come from Austria. It is a mid- to late-ripening grape variety with medium-sized to big bunches and berries of small to medium size. It is susceptible to downy and powdery (oidium) mildews. Grüner Veltliner typically produces monovarietal wines. Fermentation usually takes place in stainless steel tanks, maturation – in stainless steel tanks.
