Graciano
Graciano is a black grape variety used for red wine production. It is believed to originally come from Spain. It is a grape variety that buds and ripens late, with medium-sized bunches and berries. It is drought resistant, though susceptible to downy mildew. Graciano is primarily used in blends with local Spanish grape varieties. Classic blending partners are Tempranillo, Garnacha and Mazuelo. Fermentation typically takes place in stainless steel tanks, maturation – in oak barrels.
