Gewürztraminer
Gewürztraminer is a pinkish grape variety used for still dry, off-dry, medium-sweet and sweet white wine production. It is believed to originally come from the area of north-east France (Alsace) and south-west Germany (Pfalz and Baden). It is a grape variety that buds and ripens early, with small bunches and small, thick-skinned berries. It has good disease resistance. Gewürztraminer typically produces monovarietal wines. Fermentation usually takes place in stainless steel tanks, maturation – in stainless steel tanks.
