Garganega

It is a late-ripening grape variety with big bunches and relatively small, thin-skinned berries. Garganega can produce monovarietal wines but is also used in blends with different grape varieties. Classic blending partners are Verdicchio Bianco (Trebbiano di Soave) and Chardonnay. Fermentation usually takes place in stainless steel tanks or oak barrels, maturation – in stainless steel tanks or oak barrels.
