Dolcetto
Dolcetto is a black grape variety used for red wine production. It is believed to originally come from Piedmont (Italy). It is an early-ripening grape variety with medium to big bunches and medium-sized berries. It is sensitive to cold weather before harvest time and susceptible to fungal diseases. Dolcetto typically produces monovarietal wines. Fermentation usually takes place in stainless steel tanks, maturation – in stainless steel tanks or oak vats.
