Cortese
Cortese is a white grape variety used for still dry wine production. It is believed to originally come from Piedmont (Italy). It is a mid-ripening grape variety with medium-sized bunches and thin-skinned berries of medium size. It is susceptible to botrytis bunch rot (grey mold). Cortese typically produces monovarietal wines. Fermentation usually takes place in stainless steel tanks, maturation – in stainless steel tanks.
