This wine is deep ruby in colour. It has a fruity, spicy, mature and slightly jammy nose of pronounced intensity, with aromas of blackcurrant, black pepper, plum, prune, leather and oak. The concentrated, full-bodied palate initially has ripe tannins that turn dry and is slightly lacking in acidity, leading to a medium rather than long finish. Ready for drinking with potential for ageing (3-5 years).
