This wine is medium garnet in colour. It has a spicy, fruity, floral and mature nose of pronounced intensity, with aromas of black pepper, blackcurrant, blueberry, cherry, prune, violet, tobacco, chocolate and oak. It is still quite fresh on the nicely balanced, full-bodied and fairly complex palate, with ripe tannins, harmonious acidity and restrained alcohol, leading to a medium-plus finish. Ready for drinking with potential for ageing (3-5 years).
