This wine is deep ruby in colour. It has a spicy, fruity nose of really pronounced intensity, giving a positive first impression, with aromas of black pepper, nutmeg, cloves, blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry, cherry and violet. It is balanced on the complex, concentrated, rich and full-bodied palate with ripe tannins and pleasantly restrained alcohol, culminating in a fairly long finish. Ready for drinking with potential for ageing (3-5 years).
