This wine is deep ruby in colour. It has an oaky, fruity and spicy nose of quite pronounced intensity, with aromas of dark chocolate, blackcurrant, plum, cherry, strawberry, liquorice and black pepper. It is nicely balanced on the full-bodied, concentrated palate, with smooth acidity and ripe, velvety tannins, although not especially long and complex. Ready for drinking with potential for ageing (1-3 years).
