This wine is deep ruby in colour. It has a fruity, spicy, floral and oaky nose of pronounced intensity, with aromas of blackberry, blueberry, prunes, dried fruit, violet, cedar, chocolate, cinnamon and black pepper. It is rich, concentrated and complex on the remarkably full-bodied palate, with plentiful ripe tannins, although the alcohol is a little overwhelming and the fruit a bit jammy on the medium finish. Ready for drinking with potential for ageing (5-7 years).
