Grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine is medium ruby in colour. It has a fruity, spicy, fairly varietal of nose of quite pronounced intensity, with aromas of blackcurrant, plum, eucalyptus, cloves and black pepper. While it is reasonably intense and the alcohol is nicely integrated on the approaching full-bodied palate, the tannins are drying and it also lacks complexity, culminating in an abrupt finish. Ready for drinking.
