This wine is medium ruby in colour. It has a fruity, spicy nose of medium-plus intensity, with aromas of cherry, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry and black pepper, but also rotten cabbage from reduction. It is problematic and missing harmony on the full-bodied palate, with tannins that start out ripe but turn dry on the shortish finish. Ready for drinking with potential for ageing (1-3 years).
