This wine is deep ruby in colour. It has a ripe, spicy, oaky and fairly varietal nose of pronounced intensity, with aromas of blackcurrant, cherry, prune, cedar, coffee, vanilla, cloves and black pepper. It is rich and concentrated on the very full-bodied palate, with the balanced acidity, ripe tannins and integrated alcohol in nice harmony, although it is a little jammy on the medium finish. Ready for drinking with potential for ageing (3-5 years).
