This sparkling wine is deep straw-yellow in colour, with fine bubbles. It has a fairly simple nose of medium intensity, with aromas of dried fruit, apple and some bruised apple – the latter hinting at oxidation. It has persistent bubbles on the medium-bodied palate, although it is lacking acidity and is clearly oxidised on the bitter, fading finish. Already past its peak.
