This wine is deep ruby in colour. It has a fruity, spicy, floral and varietally pure nose of medium-plus intensity, giving a positive first impression, with aromas of strawberry, cherry, sour cherry, cranberry, redcurrant, cloves, cinnamon, tobacco leaves, walnut leaves, wild rose and violet. Although it has balanced acidity and ripe tannins, it is lacking in elegance on the medium-bodied palate, and the alcohol sticks out a touch on the medium finish. Ready for drinking with potential for ageing (3-5 years).
