2018 Cuvée, Pinot Noir. Myskhako
Kuban. Novorossiysk PGI,
Krasnodar region,
Russia,
13.8% vol., 600
Grape variety: Pinot Noir
This wine is pale ruby in colour. It has a varietally pure and mineral nose of quite pronounced intensity, giving a positive first impression, with aromas of sour cherry, plum, pomegranate, redcurrant, cherry and wet soil. It is missing harmony on the medium-bodied palate, which does not match the promise of the nose, with high alcohol, drying tannins and a lack of complexity. Ready for drinking with potential for ageing (1-3 years).
