2018 Avtokhtonnyye vina, Bastardo - Kefesiya. Valery Zaharin
Republic of Crimea,
Russia,
12% vol., 1 450
Grape variety: Bastardo Magarachskiy; Kefesiya
This wine is deep ruby in colour. It has an appealing nose of moderate intensity, with aromas of blackberry, plum, cherry, black pepper and oak. It is initially fresh on the full-bodied palate, with nicely integrated alcohol, although the tannins turn drying on the medium but bitter finish. Ready for drinking with potential for ageing (1-3 years).
