This wine is medium ruby in colour. It has a varietally pure nose of medium-plus intensity, giving a positive first impression, with aromas of black pepper, violet, blueberry, blackberry, sour cherry, cherry and chocolate. It is elegant, fresh and concentrated on the approaching full-bodied palate, with well-integrated alcohol, although the initially ripe tannins turn dry on the medium finish. Ready for drinking with potential for ageing (1-3 years).
