This wine is medium ruby in colour. It has an oaky nose of quite pronounced intensity, with some varietal characteristics, with aromas of blackcurrant, prune, black pepper, chocolate and cedar. It has nicely restrained alcohol but slightly drying tannins on the full-bodied palate, with just a medium finish. Ready for drinking with potential for ageing (1-3 years).
