Grape variety: Sangiovese

This wine is medium garnet in colour. It has an appealing, fairly varietally pure nose of pronounced intensity, with aromas of cedar, tobacco, sour cherry, cherry, dried fruits and dark chocolate. It isn’t very balanced on the full-bodied palate as it lacks acidity, leading to an abrupt finish, although its tannins are ripe. Ready for drinking with potential for ageing (1-3 years).
