This wine is medium ruby in colour. It has an attractively fruity and spicy nose of good intensity, giving a positive first impression, with aromas of blackcurrant, cherry, strawberry, plum, black pepper, bell pepper and oak. It is quite balanced on the medium-plus bodied palate, with ripe tannins, although it lacks concentration and complexity, culminating in a restricted finish. Ready for drinking with potential for ageing (3-5 years).
