This wine is deep ruby in colour. It has a complex nose of pronounced intensity, with a nice balance between fruity and mature notes, with aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, liquorice, cinnamon, black pepper, oak and tobacco leaves. This full-bodied wine is well balanced with mainly ripe tannins though also some drying tannins, lively acidity and concentrated fruit, though it is a little jammy and missing some harmony on the medium-plus finish. Ready for drinking with potential for ageing (3-5 years).
