This wine is deep purple in colour. It has a varietally pure nose of pronounced intensity, with aromas of black pepper, blackberry, plums, blueberry, blackcurrant, dried fruit, liquorice and tobacco leaves. This full-bodied wine is fresh, concentrated, complex and balanced on the palate, with high but well-integrated alcohol and ripe tannins, culminating on a medium-plus finish. Ready for drinking with potential for ageing (3-5 years).
