2012 Rebo. Usadba Divnomorskoye
Krasnodar region,
Russia,
16.5% vol.
Grape variety: Rebo
The wine is deep ruby in colour. An attractive and complex nose of a strong intensity; a bouquet of prune, black raisin, dried blackberry, dried black cherry, walnut, toast, fried hazelnut and liquorice. A powerful, concentrated, full-bodied and muscular wine on the palate with moderate acidity, firm plentiful tannins and a rich structure to balance generous and well integrated alcohol; however, there is a touch of bitterness in the aftertaste; flavours of black raisin, dried blackberry and black cherry in a long lasting finish. Needs further ageing.
